About Me

Lt Col C
Alexandria, VA, United States
More guns, less Oprah is a phrase I used once in correspondence with my eldest brother. I can't claim this was some long-developed phrase, it was more spur of the moment, as we shared frustrations on the state of the country, the threats we face across the globe and the increasing frequency of liberals to blame America and its ills (which they created in the 1960's by the way, something they don't mention too much now) for every global dilemma, real or not. 'More guns' broadly defines my conservative views, that people should take care of themselves and government should focus on defending the nation against foreign threats. 'Less Oprah' generally describes the rise of the 'feel good about yourself in the community of others' and 'it's not my fault' genre of the self-help and woe-is-me generation.
